Public Records Requests
The Port of Hood River is committed to transparency and complies with the Oregon Public Records Law (ORS 192.311–192.478). Members of the public may request access to non-exempt Port records.
To ensure an efficient response, please include as much detail as possible in your request, such as dates, subject matter, and relevant keywords.
Submit a Request
You may submit a written request by email, mail, or by using the Port’s Public Records Request Form linked below. Use of the form is encouraged but not required.
Fees
Fees may apply to recover the actual cost of staff time, copies, and materials. If the estimated cost exceeds $25, the Port will provide an estimate and request written approval before proceeding. For current rates, see the Master Fee Schedule.
Response Time
The Port will acknowledge receipt of a request within five business days. Within ten additional business days, the Port will either provide the records or an estimated timeline for completion. Exceptions may apply under Oregon law.
Redacted or Exempt Records
If records contain exempt information, that portion will be redacted, and the requester will be notified of the reason for the redaction in accordance with state law.
