Job Opportunities

Capital Projects & Operations Coordinator 

The Port of Hood River is accepting applications for the position of Capital Projects & Operations Coordinator. This recruitment is open to both internal and external candidates.

The Capital Projects & Operations Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and project coordination support for capital projects, waterfront and marina operations, parking programs, and related public-facing services. The position works closely with the Director of Capital Development & Planning to support capital planning, project delivery, and day-to-day operational coordination.

Volunteer Opportunities

Two Open Budget Committee Positions 

The Port of Hood River is seeking two volunteers to serve on its Budget Committee. Applicants must be qualified voters and residents of the Port District. The positions are three-year terms ending June 30, 2028. Budget Committee meetings are typically held in April or May, and attendance is mandatory.

Applications are available at the link below or at the Port office, located at 1000 E. Port Marina Drive. Completed applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, and may be returned in person, by mail, or by email to info@portofhoodriver.com.

The Port Commission will review applications and may select two applicants at its February 17, 2026, Commission meeting.
