The Port of Hood River is accepting applications for the position of Temporary/Seasonal Facilities Worker.
The Seasonal Facilities Worker supports the maintenance and upkeep of Port properties, including waterfront, marina, and other public facilities. This position assists with general maintenance tasks, groundskeeping, basic repairs, and ensures Port properties are clean, safe, and well-maintained during the busy season.
Wage Range: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Seasonal (through September), full-time or part-time depending on operational needs

The Port of Hood River is accepting applications for the position of Temporary/Seasonal Overnight Port Monitor.
The Port Monitor provides overnight monitoring and facility oversight services at Port-owned properties, including waterfront facilities, parks, parking areas, recreational sites, and other public-use facilities. This position conducts routine monitoring rounds, assists with opening and securing facilities, observes and reports maintenance, safety, and operational concerns, issues parking citations, and serves as a visible Port presence during assigned shifts.
Wage Range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Seasonal (through September), primarily evening and overnight shifts; full-time or part-time depending on operational needs.

Volunteer Opportunities
The Port of Hood River is seeking four individuals to serve on the Airport Advisory Committee (AAC). The AAC advises the Port Commission on matters related to airport planning, development, operations, policies, and community interface associated with the Ken Jernstedt Airfield. Appointed positions serve four-year terms and are subject to appointment by the Port Commission. The Port encourages experienced pilots, aviation professionals, airport users, and individuals with aviation-related experience or interest to apply.
