Job Opportunities
The Port of Hood River is hiring a temporary Office Specialist to provide customer service, administrative support, and clerical assistance. This frontline position handles inquiries and payments for bridge users, waterfront recreation, and Port tenants, while also supporting office operations and project tasks. Flexible, public-facing candidates who enjoy a dynamic work environment are encouraged to apply.

Volunteer Opportunities
The Port of Hood River is seeking two volunteers to serve on its Budget Committee. Applicants must be qualified voters and residents of the Port District. The positions are three-year terms ending June 30, 2028. Budget Committee meetings are typically held in April or May, and attendance is mandatory.
Applications are available at the link below or at the Port office, located at 1000 E. Port Marina Drive. Completed applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, and may be returned in person, by mail, or by email to info@portofhoodriver.com.
The Port Commission will review applications and may select two applicants at its February 17, 2026, Commission meeting.
