Reminder: 72-Hour Closure of Hood-River White Salmon Interstate Bridge

Coming June 24, 25, 26 for Approach Ramp Repairs

Hood River, ORE. – The Hood River-White Salmon Interstate bridge will be closed to all traffic for a 72-hour period beginning at 12:01 a.m. the morning of Friday, June 24 through 11:59 p.m. the night of Sunday, June 26. During this total closure, crews from Granite Construction will repave the Oregon and Washington approach ramps. The work will include roughening the surfaces, applying an emulsion and a rubber membrane, and finally a 1.5” asphalt surface. The closure was originally scheduled to take place June 10-12 but was rescheduled due to rain.

Hood River, Oregon. – El puente interestatal de Hood River-White Salmon estará cerrado a todo el tráfico durante un período de 72 horas a partir de las 12:01 a.m. de la mañana del viernes 24 de junio hasta las 11:59 p.m. la noche del domingo 26 de junio. Durante este cierre total, las cuadrillas de Granite Construction repavimentarán las rampas de acceso de Oregón y Washington. El trabajo incluirá el desbaste de las superficies, la aplicación de una emulsión y una membrana de goma, y ??finalmente una superficie asfáltica de 1,5”. El cierre estaba originalmente programado para el 10 al 12 de junio, pero fue reprogramado debido a la lluvia.
