To request a lift, please complete the form below and return it to info@portofhoodriver.com. You may also mail or drop it off at the Port Office, located at 1000 E. Port Marina Dr., Hood River, OR 97031.

Port staff will review your request and contact you within 2-3 business days. For urgent lifts, please call (541) 490-3092. Please note that at least 12 hours' notice is required for a lift. The vessel must adhere to the requested lift time with a 30-minute margin.

Vertical Clearances

As per US Coast Guard regulations, vessels must lower all removable objects obstructing passage before requesting a lift.

• Max vertical clearance when lift span is closed: 67 feet (20.42 meters) at average river height of 74.75
• Max vertical clearance when lift span is open: 148 feet (45 meters)
• Horizontal clearance of the lift span is 246 feet (75 meters)
