Furture Closure To Continue Work On Lift Span

The Port is pleased to announce that structural repairs have been completed ahead of schedule and the Hood River-White Salmon Interstate Bridge is now open to all vehicles weighing less than 64,000 lbs. Please visit the Port website for information on current weight and height restrictions on our Bridge page. The Port will announce a future bridge closure to continue electrical and mechanical work on the lift span.

A special thanks to Kiewit Infrastructure West Co., HDR Engineering, Inc., WJE Assoc., Inc. and our dedicated Port facilities crew for their outstanding work.

During the bridge closure, our team also took the opportunity to repaint fog lines, center lines, and turn arrows on both sides of the bridge. We extend our gratitude to the community for their patience and understanding during this time. We recognize the significant impact this closure has had on local businesses and families.
