An earlier email sent today (8/13/26) included incorrect closure dates for the Hood River–White Salmon Bridge. Please disregard the previous schedule and use the corrected dates below.

Hood River, Ore. (August 13, 2026) — At the request of the Hood River–White Salmon Bridge Authority, the scheduled overnight closure time has changed. The Hood River–White Salmon Bridge will now close from 12:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. on the following nights:

• August 18, 19, and 20
• August 27 and 28
• September 1, 2, 3, and 4
• September 9, 10, and 11

The closures support geotechnical exploration near the Washington shoreline for the Bridge Replacement Project. Some scheduled closures may not be needed if work is completed early; updates will be provided as they become available.

Travelers should plan ahead and use an alternate route during closure hours.
