2-month pilot project will test cashless tolling 10PM – 6AM starting May 1.

HOOD RIVER, ORE. – The Port of Hood River will launch a two-month pilot project to test the Hood River-White Salmon Interstate Bridge’s toll system capacities for cashless tolling during the off-peak hours of 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. beginning Monday, May 1. BreezeBy customers will be unaffected by the project and should continue to pass through the toll plaza as usual.

Customers that would normally pay their toll with cash or credit card will have two options to pay tolls:

1. Pay Online: Go to https://csc.portofhoodriver.com/paytoll and select Pay Tolls Before Invoice (within 7 days of crossing) option.
2. Pay by Mail: An invoice will be mailed to the address on the vehicle registration about a week after the crossing.

Both payment options will have no additional ancillary fees added to the amount due for any crossings during these hours. Normally, an ancillary fee of $3 is added to the toll amount for pay by mail customers to cover the cost of DMV record look up, postage, paper and printing costs. The Port Commission has opted to not charge ancillary fees for toll invoices issued during the pilot project for crossings between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. due to the small number of cash-paying customers during this period. Toll amounts are calculated based on the vehicle type and number of axles.

El proyecto piloto de 2 meses probará el peaje sin efectivo de 10PM a 6AM a partir del 1 de mayo.

HOOD RIVER, OREGON. – El puerto de Hood River lanzará un proyecto piloto de dos meses para probar las capacidades del sistema de peaje sin efectivo del puente interestatal Hood River-White Salmon durante las horas fuera de pico de 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. a partir del lunes 1 de mayo. Los clientes de BreezeBy no se verán afectados por el proyecto y deberán continuar pasando por la plaza de peaje como de costumbre.

Los clientes que normalmente pagarían su peaje en efectivo o con tarjeta de crédito tendrán dos opciones para pagar los peajes:

1. Pague en línea: vaya a https://csc.portofhoodriver.com/paytoll y seleccione la opción pagar peaje antes de la factura (dentro de los 7 días del cruce).

2. Pago por correo: se enviará una factura a la dirección anotado en el registro del vehículo aproximadamente una semana después del cruce.

Ninguna de las dos opciones de pago tendrá tarifas secundarias adicionales agregadas al monto adeudado por cualquier cruce durante estas horas. Normalmente, se agrega una tarifa adicional de $3 al monto del peaje para los clientes que pagan por correo para cubrir el costo de la búsqueda de registros del DMV, el franqueo, el papel y los costos de impresión. La Comisión del Puerto ha optado por no cobrar tarifas secundarias a las facturas de peaje emitidas durante el proyecto piloto para las travesías entre las 10:00 p.m. y 6:00 a.m. debido al pequeño número de clientes que pagan en efectivo durante este período.
