HOOD RIVER, Ore. (September 18, 2026) - This is a reminder that planned maintenance and repair work on the Hood River–White Salmon Bridge will begin Monday, Sept. 21. Travelers should expect overnight closures and daytime traffic interruptions.

Mechanical and Electrical Work

• Full overnight closures: Sept. 21–24, midnight to 6 a.m.
• Daytime work: Sept. 21–23, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Most daytime interruptions will last approximately 15 minutes. Longer interruptions of up to approximately one hour may occur from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.

Bridge Steel and Coating Maintenance Repairs

• Full overnight closures: Sept. 29 through Oct. 12, Monday through Friday, midnight to 5:30 a.m.

Please plan ahead, expect delays and use an alternate route during full closures.
