The Port of Hood River is inviting responses to a Request for Developer Interest (RFDI) for the Marina East and Marina West properties located within the Marina Basin on the Hood River waterfront (600/700 E. Port Marina Drive, Hood River, OR 97031).

This RFDI is an exploratory process intended to gather information from qualified developers and businesses regarding potential redevelopment concepts for these Port-owned properties. The Port is seeking creative, feasible concepts that:

• Enhance long-term financial sustainability for the Port
• Activate the waterfront with compatible uses
• Protect and enhance public access
• Provide year-round community benefit
• Reflect high-quality, human-scale design appropriate for the Hood River waterfront

The Marina East and Marina West properties comprise approximately 2.6 acres within a defined development envelope and are currently improved with aging commercial buildings. The Port anticipates redevelopment through long-term ground lease arrangements that maintain public ownership while supporting private investment.

This RFDI is not a solicitation for bids or proposals and does not obligate the Port to proceed with redevelopment. Responses will inform future Commission discussions regarding potential next steps.

• RFDI Responses Due: April 23, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Time)
