HOOD RIVER, Ore. (Sept. 28, 2026) — The overnight closure of the Hood River–White Salmon Bridge scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 29, from midnight to 5:30 a.m. has been canceled. The contractor has postponed the start of the bridge steel and coating maintenance repairs.

The schedule for the remaining overnight work is being confirmed. The Port of Hood River will announce revised closure dates and times as soon as they are available.

The Port appreciates the public’s patience as the work is rescheduled.
