Hood River, Ore. (August 26, 2025) - The Hood River-White Salmon Interstate Bridge will be fully closed to all traffic on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 9:00 a.m. to allow a bridge lift for marine traffic.

This closure is required under U.S. Coast Guard regulations (33 CFR § 117.869), which mandate the bridge open upon receiving at least 12 hours’ notice from river traffic.

While we plan to reopen the bridge by 9:00 a.m., unforeseen circumstances or delays could extend the closure. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
