Hood River, Ore. (July 25, 2025) - The Hood River-White Salmon Interstate Bridge will be closed to all traffic nightly from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m., August 13 through August 15, 2025.

This temporary closure is necessary to troubleshoot tower-to-tower communication, perform a series of bridge lifts, and conduct operator training on the lift span. This work is in addition to bridge inspection activities beginning Monday, July 28.

The overnight schedule is intended to minimize disruptions, but delays may occur. If the bridge cannot reopen on time, updates will be posted on the Port website homepage.
