Waterfront:

- The Port has continued their work in obtaining ODOT approval for the newly configured traffic plan at the waterfront with a new roundabout to help with traffic flow.
- Plans for the Anchor Way & Portway Parking Lots Project are moving forward, with construction of the new parking lots slated to begin after Labor Day.
Bridge:

- Port Commissioners approved the closure of the bridge toll booth, moving to fully electronic tolling which took effect on April 1, 2025.
- The Port added a Live-Camera to the bridge, helping commuters see real-time traffic. This is the fourth live camera available for public viewing at www.portofhoodriver.com
Airport:

- A 10-unit hangar will be developed at the Ken Jernstedt Airport, creating more space for airplane storage.
- The summer is a busy time at the airport, with Hood River Soaring growing in numbers and WAAAM preparing for their annual fall Fly-In on September 6-7th.
- Port Commissioners approved a resolution committing the Port to match private contributions received by the Port of Hood River Foundation that are designated to airport improvements, specifically an airport terminal building.
Industrial

- The facilities team is continually making improvements on the historic Big 7 building, as it has become an incubator for small businesses and artisan workshops.
- Port Commissioners voted to put the Odell Industrial Park property for sale, an 12-acre parcel shovel ready for development. For information on the listing, email properties@portofhoodriver.com
