Hello Waterfront Folks,

Heads-up for another busy weekend along the Waterfront!

PARTY AT THE WATERFRONT PARK- This Sunday, August 10th, is the Hood River Latino Network Latino Festival at the Waterfront Park from 2-8pm.  They will have Los Morros del Norte performing Live.  There will be dancing, games, raffles, food carts, community resources, and goods made by local artists that will be set up in the grass area.

The Latino Network has rented Lot #1 for event parking, however those who are frequent recreation users of the Waterfront Park should expect congestion with regard to parking in the surrounding area along with limited area available for access and gear.  Please plan accordingly.

SAILBOAT RACING- Watersports people- Saturday & Sunday the Hood River Yacht Club is hosting their Double Damned Race from Cascade Locks to The Dalles.  There will be increased sailboat racing activity in the river.  Please keep an eye out and try to avoid getting in their path.  They will try to stay out of your way as well!
